SOLOISTS
BALLET:
Baby: 9-11 years(presenting an original choreography)
Allievi: 12-14 years (presenting an original choreography or a repertoire piece according to the list below. The work on pointe is not compulsory)
Juniores: 15-17 years (a repertoire variation according to the list below. The work on pointe is compulsory)
Seniores: 18-24 years (a repertoire variation according to the list below. The work on pointe is compulsory)
MODERN/CONTEMPORARY:
Baby: 9-11 years
Allievi: 12-14 years
Juniores: 15-17 years
Seniores: from 18 years
DUOS - PAS DE DEUX:
(In case of duos - pas de deux danced by a man and a woman, the category is linked with the age of the woman. In case of duos - pas de deux danced by two men or women, category is stated by the older partecipant of the two)
BALLET:
Juniores: 11-15 years (presenting an original choreography or a repertoire piece according to the list below. The work on pointe is not compulsory)
Seniores: 16-24 years (a repertoire variation according to the list below. The work on pointe is compulsory)

The date of reference for age limit (below and above) is 01/03/2024.

If you wish to present a variation or a pas de deux which is not listed, please contact the secretarial office.
ART. 4 Maximum length of the choreography, lights and costumes
Soloists: 3 minutes (with regards to the ballet solo, the length is according to the original variation)
Pas de deux: 4 minutes (with regards to the ballet pas de deux, the length is according to the original repertoire)
The total length can exceed maximum 10 seconds. The lights on stage will be white.
Participants will not be wearing costumes, but girls whit leotard and tutulette (short tutu, degas or romantic tutu) and boys in academic clothes, for the ballet section; whilst a leotard and shorts/skirt/trousers(one color only) for the contemporary section.
No setting/scenographies are allowed, only small props can be taken on stage and in that case after informing the secretarial office in the registration form.
It is forbidden to wear make up, body lotions, liquids o poudres that could make the floor slippery.
The music tracks have to be sent in mp3 format alongside the registration (indicating name of participant, category and number partecipant).
The music should also be recorded on a cd to be given on the competition day to the secretarial office. They need to be recorded individually on a cd and in a good quality, otherwise the panel might decide to cut the performance (e.g. if the music is not properly cut, if there is a sound in the background, etc.) Every cd should indicate the name of participant/s (soloists or duet), name of the choreography and category.
ART. 5 Registration and fees
Applicants can register by filling in the on-line form on our website www.e-twenty.it (page Premio DanzApulia) or www.premiodanzapulia.com by 22th February 2024, attaching:
- registration form fully filled in
- a headshot
- a copy of the ID or passport
- the music file (to be sent after confirmation of registration and attribution of the participation number, to the e-mail address info@premiodanzapulia.com, appointed exclusively with the number assigned)
- a copy of the payment (or scholarship)
- a declaration of having a medical certificate proving the ability to take part to the competition and to be covered by a personal insurance on possible injuries
- a parental authorization for minors to take part to Premio DanzApulia 2024, declaring that it is acknowledged and agreed that the organization of the competition is not responsible for the accommodation and for the custody of the minor at any time during the event.

Fee for soloists: € 60
Fee for duets: € 90
Candidates who register for more than one category will get a 20% off from the second variation.
The registration fees are not refundable in any case.
Travel, board and lodging expenses are on the participant.
ART. 6 Prizes
The panel will assign 1° 2° e 3° prizes in each category and will assign the scholarships and prizes for each section and category.
The jury will also assign a DANZAPULIA absolute first prize winner, and a reward of 200 euros to the concurrent who got the best score of the competition.
First, second and third place winners of each category will automatically take part to the Gala of Sunday the 03th of March. The performance will be on costumes.
ART. 7 Rehearsals
Rehearsalas on stage will be organised as follows:
-Ballet: open rehearsal of 20 minutes for group
-Contemporary: open rehearsal of 20 minutes for group
If necessary, the organisation will be in charge of changing the schedule.
Only 1 reference person/chaperon is allowed backstage.
The stage is 9 x 7 meters, wooden floor with a dance floor (slope 5%).
ART. 8 The jury
The jury's judgment is unquestionable and irrevocable.
The jury might decide not to assign all the available prizes, if the candidates have not passed a minimum score of 60/100.
In case one or more mambers of the jury might not be present during the competition (for force majeure or delats), the organisation will provide substitutes or else the event will go on without them.
The jury will be made of internationally famous representatives, who will assign a final mark to each participant, from 10 to 100.
ART. 9 Tickets for the competition
The audience can watch the different phases of the competition buying a ticket at the door on the day or booking it in advance from E-TWENTY and STELLE.
Single ticket for the competition is € 10.
ART. 10 Cancellation of the event
The organisation might cancel the competition if the number of the participants is not enough; in that case the participants will get reimbursed of their registration fee.
The organisation might make some changes to the categories and sections of the event.
ART. 11 Extra
The candidate entering the competition authorises the organization of the competition to freely use their image and personal data in accordance with art. 13 of the new privacy code (Legislative Decree 196 of 30/06/2003) for promotional purposes and accepts the regulation in each of its articles.
For any other article not covered by this regulation, the decisions that can not be appealed are the responsibility of the organization. Participants in the competition undertake to follow the agenda posted in the special notice board at the Teatro Politeama Italia (Bisceglie). Unauthorized videos and photos are not allowed; only those accredited by the organization will be authorized, which will issue an access pass.
